Located on the shores of Lake Kivu in Western Rwanda and boarding D.R. Congo is the small village of Cyimbili, Rwanda. Long regarded as an ideal location to grow and harvest coffee, the Rwandan Genocide in 1994 forced many coffee plantations in the area to cease production. ALARM, in partnership with the Association des Eglises Baptistes au Rwanda (AEBR/Association of Baptist Churches in Rwanda), is working to bring economic, physical, and spiritual healing back to the community of Cyimbili, Rwanda.
